The MPQ5476 is a complete power management IC (PMIC) that integrates four high-efficiency, step-down DC/DC converters. The converters use constant-on-time (COT) control to provide fast transient response. The 1000kHz switching frequency (fSW) greatly reduces external inductor and capacitor size. The MPQ5476 supports pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) mode for high light-load efficiency, in addition to providing dynamic voltage scaling (DVS), forced discharge mode, power good (PG) mode, and shutdown mode via the I2C interface. Additional features include a default voltage setting mode. The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted via the I2C bus or preset by the memory. The MPQ5476 can control the start-up sequence with soft start and a delay time via the online I2C bus or the memory. The MPQ5476 requires a minimal number of external components, and is available in a space-saving QFN-35 (5mmx5mm) package.
