MPL Optimized Performance with MPS Inductor The EVBL4423H-Q-00A is an evaluation board designed to desmonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ4423H and MPQ4423H-AEC1, and is optimized for MPS's MPL-AL6060 series of power inductors. The MPQ4423H and MPQ4423H-AEC1 are high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converters with built-in power MOSFETs. They offer a very compact solution to achieve 3A of continuous output current (IOUT), with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. The MPQ4423H and MPQ4423H-AEC1 have synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency across the IOUT load range. Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. The MPQ4423H and MPQ4423H-AEC1 are available in a QFN-8 (3mmx3mm) package.
