The MP5022A is a hot-swap protection device designed to protect circuitry on its output from transients on its input. It also protects its input from undesired shorts and transients coming from its output. At start-up, inrush current is limited by the slew rate at the output. The slew rate is controlled by external capacitor at the SS pin. The maximum load at the output is current limited through a sense FET topology. The magnitude of the current limit is controlled by a low-power resistor from the ISET pin to ground. An internal charge pump drives the gate of the power device, allowing for a power FET with a very low on resistance of 3mΩ. The MP5022A includes an IMON option that produces a voltage proportional to current through the power device set by a resistor from this pin to ground. The MP5022A includes an optional discharge function that provides a discharge path for the external output capacitor when the part is disabled. Fault protections include current limit, thermal shutdown, and damaged MOSFET detection. The device also features over-voltage protection and under-voltage protection. The MP5022A is available in a QFN-22 (3mmx5mm) package.
YG GROUP (YUGUANG INTERNATIONAL(HK)CO.,LTD) supports reliable sourcing through quality controls and compliance documentation. Please confirm product requirements, applicable certifications and supporting documents before ordering.
MP5022A is an authentic electronic component manufactured by Monolithic Power Systems, categorized under Power Management ICs. It is supplied in the standard manufacturer-specified package footprint, providing industry-standard mechanical dimensions and terminal configurations for board-level assembly. Full pinout configurations, physical footprint drawings, and rated operating tolerances are documented in the official MP5022A datasheet above.
Electronic component spot-market pricing for MP5022A fluctuates based on real-time global availability, production date codes, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and packaging formats (e.g., Reel, Tube, Tray). Using an RFQ ensures you receive accurate, real-time volume pricing tied to verified, traceable inventory rather than stale catalog estimates.
Lead times for MP5022A depend on whether stock is dispatched from our central hub or regional franchise partners. Ready-to-ship inventory typically leaves the warehouse within 1–3 business days following quality inspection, while factory-direct or back-ordered allocations are confirmed with an estimated ship date upon RFQ reply.
