The EV2980-R-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP2980, a synchronous, four-switch buck-boost controller that supports USB PD3.0 power solutions. The MP2980 provides an I2C interface, making it well-suited for USB power delivery (PD) designs in USB Type-C power supplies. It uses valley current control in buck mode and peak current control in boost mode, providing fast load transient response and smooth buck-boost mode transient. It provides forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) and a configurable average current limit. The MP2980 also features over-current protection (OCP) and over-voltage protection (OVP) with hiccup mode, configurable soft start (SS), and configurable under-voltage lockout (UVLO). The MP2980 is available in a QFN-32 (4mmx4mm) package.
YG GROUP (YUGUANG INTERNATIONAL(HK)CO.,LTD) supports reliable sourcing through quality controls and compliance documentation. Please confirm product requirements, applicable certifications and supporting documents before ordering.
EV2980-R-00A is an authentic electronic component manufactured by Monolithic Power Systems, categorized under Development Tools. It is supplied in the standard manufacturer-specified package footprint, providing industry-standard mechanical dimensions and terminal configurations for board-level assembly. Full pinout configurations, physical footprint drawings, and rated operating tolerances are documented in the official EV2980-R-00A datasheet above.
Electronic component spot-market pricing for EV2980-R-00A fluctuates based on real-time global availability, production date codes, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and packaging formats (e.g., Reel, Tube, Tray). Using an RFQ ensures you receive accurate, real-time volume pricing tied to verified, traceable inventory rather than stale catalog estimates.
Lead times for EV2980-R-00A depend on whether stock is dispatched from our central hub or regional franchise partners. Ready-to-ship inventory typically leaves the warehouse within 1–3 business days following quality inspection, while factory-direct or back-ordered allocations are confirmed with an estimated ship date upon RFQ reply.
